WorldStream keeps buffering or plays slowly

Buffering and stuttering are almost always caused by your internet connection. For smooth live streaming we recommend a sustained download speed of at least 25 Mbps.

Try these steps:

  1. Run a speed test on the device you're watching on (for example fast.com or speedtest.net).
  2. Pause other devices on your network — large downloads, cloud backups or other video streams.
  3. On Wi-Fi, move closer to the router or restart it; if you can, use a wired connection.
  4. Close other apps, or restart the device.
  5. Sign out of WorldStream and sign back in to reset the player.

If the problem has lasted more than a couple of weeks, affects all channels or all your devices, or you've already tried the above, email support@worldstream.tv with your device, the worst time of day, your speed-test result and the channels affected — a team member will review your account and connection.
